Roll up, roll up. to the greatest show of them all. This August and September, the renowned Kaminski Carnival of Eastern Europe will be touring the length and breadth of the United Kingdom. Dating back to the late 18th C. the Kaminski family's unique shows bring together the very best weird and wonderful acts and artists from across the globe to amaze, shock and astound their audiences. Twisted magic, death-defying acrobats, freak show favourites. and not your average type of clown. After this summer's tour, the carnival has announced it will be using Landguard Fort for its out-of-season home - and as a special treat, the public will be able to tour the carnival's storerooms and props, plus meet face-to-face with some of the artists. BOOK NOW for the `Open Nights' at the Fort on Friday 27 and Saturday 28 October. it's going to be quite a scream!

- Although we have done everything to ensure your safety whilst attending this event, historic properties (the Fort being Grade I listed) can be hazardous so please take care. Some special effects may be used including smoke machines, loud noises and strobe lighting. Areas of the Fort involve walking on uneven surfaces (with some trip hazards), going up/downstairs and being in restricted and dark spaces.
- Please dress appropriately for the weather, warm clothing and sensible footwear should be worn.
- Those who bring or come under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted to the Fort. We also reserve the right to remove persons displaying an aggressive or abusive nature. No smoking or vaping is permitted anywhere on site at any time.
- Mobile phones should be switched off in the Fort tunnels and torches are not allowed. If you shine a light, then this is a sign for the scarers not to scare.
- There are no refunds for persons wishing to leave the event early.
